Honeythorn and River are Stormbreak's companions in her (super hardcore, super cliche, designed it when I was ten years old) quest that she goes on to defeat the terrible warlord and murderer of her parents, Genvar. These two originally were named Dana and Rina but had name and design changes to better mesh with the rest of Stormbreak's world's foundations as well of Stormbreak's actual design. They and Stormbreak have lost dear friends and family to the Bear King and unite as one to prevent the loss of any more innocent lives.

Honeythorn  the Tiger
-Incredibly sweet-natured until you mess with her family or loved ones.
-Is the first person to introduce Stormbreak to honey
-Laid back and wise, she sees little need for violence except in extreme circumstances, she helps Stormbreak deal with her loss and shows her the beauty of the world, even when it is hard to see.
-Lost her two cub brothers to Genvar's attacks and vows to avenge them.
-After her quest with Stormbreak she settles down with another female tiger and lives happily for the rest of her days

River the Jaguar
-Very reserved, soft spoken, and seemingly shy. And introvert by nature, she does not like divulging personal information and finds it hard to connect with other people.
-She lost her mate to Genvar and feels cheated of a life of happiness and love and considered suicide. She is in mourning for much of Stormbreak's journey but finds hope among her new found friends and exposure to new experiences and people along their quest. The quest helps her deal with her depression and reignites her passion for life.
-She is the first of the two that Stormbreak meets. River ironically is the one who saves Stormbreak from drowning in a river and teaches her to swim.
-After the quest, she lives a happy life of solitude and has come out of her shell quite a lot since the beginning.
