It's been too long since I've drawn my little baby Kishi. As with most of my stranger looking "hamsters" she is not actually a hamster. Or altogether a rodent for that matter either. She is an insectivore and has feline-like teeth, not rodent teeth. Her wings are similar to a moth's wings in that they both have scales covering the wings, but unlike moths the scales are not easily dislodged and are shed every 2 months. Kishi's species has retractable antennae, the males being bushier than the females to detect pheromones. Kishi is just a baby and was adopted by a dormouse named Daschel.
