The main antagonist of Stormbreak's story. Angered by the prejudices of the other species (the Canids and Felids) towards his clan, Genvar sets out  to amass an army with which to impose power upon the world with the Ursids as supreme rulers of all the finest territories. He encounters Stormbreak and her parents when Storm is just a cub. He tries to enlist Stormbreak's parents. They refuse and are murdered on the spot, leaving Stormbreak an orphan to wander alone until she is rescued by a kind heart.
